Warren Gibson

Director / Clinical Psychologist / Behaviour Support Practitioner

Warren is a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists and has been working in the field for over 25 years. He has extensive experience in mental health, autism and intellectual disability. As a therapist he practices Chairwork, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).

 

 

Dr Sheryl Monteath

Director / Clinical Neuropsychologist / Behaviour Support Practitioner

Sheryl has over 25 years experience and is a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Neuropsychologists. She has worked in a range of public and private settings including hospitals, the criminal justice system, disability services and universities. She designs assessments, behaviour support plans and interventions for children and adults with a broad range of acquired and neurodevelopmental conditions. She is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Positive Behaviour Interventions. Sheryl also conducts training and is a registered supervisor.

 

 

 

Yalleen Flahive

Behaviour Support Practitioner (full-time)

Yalleen started working with Arrow Behaviour Consultancy as an assistant whilst she was undertaking her Honours in Psychology. Upon graduating, she undertook further training and now works as a behaviour support practitioner. Yalleen has a broad range of clinical interests and particularly likes working with children and their families.

 

 

Justin Elks

Behaviour Support Practitioner (full-time)

Justin is an experienced practitioner having worked in various streams of disability, who enjoys collaborating  with a broad range of individuals, families and support teams. He provides behaviour support assessment and intervention services, including the development of behaviour support plans. With a focus on skills development and education, Justin promotes a strong practice on positive quality of life outcomes.

 

 

Rebecca Friedl

Behaviour Support Practitioner (full-time)

Rebecca is an experienced practitioner with a background of registered nursing, complemented by experience in psychiatric and community health settings. She has a keen interest in analysing behavioural expressions, and consistently collaborates with families and care teams to develop and implement effective behaviour support strategies. Rebecca adopts a hands-on approach in reviewing the implementation of these strategies, aiming to achieve positive outcomes that align with the goals of participants and their caregivers.

 

 

Stacey

Admin Officer

Stacey provides essential, behind the scenes support and you might speak with her from time-to-time. We also have Margaret who is an invaluable member of our team and assists Stacey in her role.

 

 

Kate Buchanan

Provisional Psychologist

Kate is a Provisional Psychologist currently completing her Masters in Professional Psychology. She previously worked as a family mediator with Relationships Australia, and also has experience in the early childhood and family law sectors. She is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). She has a broad range of clinical interests and enjoys collaborating with individuals to support and maximise their psychological health.
